Trick or Treat!

Sheri and I were talking about Halloween the other day, and we thought that for the kids, Halloween is probably their third favorite Holiday of all. Christmas, Birthdays, and then Halloween!

Oh the joy of becoming someone else for a night. Leaving the "Good Girl" "Red Head" and "Mr. Mischief" tags at home and taking on a totally different personality...

Well, at least the "Good Girl" and "Red Head" can leave their tags at home. Little Mr. Tyler can't be anything but cute and mischievous... no matter how we dress him.

Our favorite part about Halloween in Southern Arizona is that we don't have to plan the kids costumes around the weather. Big difference from North Idaho and Chicago. Gone are the days of a costume under a Winter Parka, or picking out the kids costumes based on the "roominess" or "nice bulk" so you can fit lots of layers underneath. Plus you can stay out as long as their little legs will hold up and get LOTS of CANDY!

Although, the great benefit of nice weather, is probably one of the drawbacks too... after the kids were in bed, the most imaginative/immodest costume showed up at our door... this teenage girl was a bloody belly dancer... didn't have the courage to snap a picture, so you'll just have to use your imagination. But sufficeth to say... nowhere near a cute as our Midnight Witch, Zombie, and Fireman!
Happy Halloween! Hope yours was as memorable as ours!

You've got to start somewhere... so how 'bout an intro?

Inspired by my Sisters, and Canadian Cousins... here we go... this will be my first attempt at being entertaining and informative online.

"I Ne... wait, I mean Joseph, having been born of goodly parents" "do find joy and rejoicing in my posterity"!

Translation for my non religious friends... I like my family a lot!

And my wife's family too!

I'm SUPER proud of my Kids!

Callie

Caden

And Tyler

And quite smitten with my bride!

And so there you have it... my first post, to my first blog. I feel nervous - I don't know if I'm ready for this. Its such a huge commitment. Do I push the "publish post" button or not?

Ah... what the heck - you all like me right? Ready? Set? POST!
